awesome day
got back A level results today yea. my results were: ... ...
nah i'll build up to it. so like ive been doing for the past few weeks, i went to bed around 1.30am. and like ive been doing for the past few weeks, i only managed to sleep around 3. however, unlike the past few weeks where i usually wake up at noon, i woke up at 8.30 this morning to take a piss and couldnt get back to sleep. you should know why. if you don't, too bad. so slacked, watched tv, played Fifa09...anything to keep from thinking abt the "A"s
so left home at 2. met a bunch of s25 guys on the way, including Binny, Norris and JN. since we got to the hall at 2.20, we had to stand at the back -.- den after a bunch a the usual ceremonies and how to apply for university: results time!!! and my results were: ... ... nah if you want to know ask me on msn, facebook, email, sms etc
den after tt went to lt1 since those who got "A"s in at least 2 H2 subjects needed to. crapped ard with JT and Virgilio. and i have a question: how come they can show Jeremy's name on the bloody screen and not mine?!?! not that im bitter, you understand.
also congrats to all me mates who did great. and to those who didnt do too well, heads up. there are many more options and paths in life to choose from
of course, i need to mention two people: my parents. the two people who have never stopped believing in the person typing this post. theyve been through psle, O levels and now A levels. there's still plenty more stuff to come, like army and university graduation (hopefully). cheers to many more moments like these ahead
also, to me teachers and friends for tolerating my nonsense and being there (not all of them, obviously. nothing is perfect). but lets not be churlish
and of course, where would we be without God? i knew tt it was no use praying for good results; after all, if you dont study (not that i didnt study, mind you), u cant expect to just waltz into the examination hall and expect to get all "A"s. but i
was praying that the dudes who marked my scripts at cambridge would be lenient =p if tt was the case, rejoice!!! mucho thanks to God for helping me deal with all the stress and bullshit during those two years
PS i wore an adidas tee to school today to collect the results. given that adidas's slogan is
Impossible is Nothing, tt was rather appropriate
