tintillating week
wed - wth did i do on wed? dunno. anyway went gym as usual. also gt pissed on the way back, thx to a bunch of (censored). asspricks
thu - went to nuh with me mother for two checkups. sian. anyway saw Chris Lim at the neurology diagnostic centre hahazzz. didnt noe he working there. den aft tt cabbed down to wheelock place. nabbed the itouch screen protector, and the staff there helped put it on. thx much! den munched at the basement at taka before train-ing to toa payoh to see me grandparents. cos my grandfather wasnt feeling well. too bad Nick and Kim werent at home
fri - yea more gymming. also met Hidayat! hahazzzzz. the first person i noe from pjc whos in police instead of army. den nabbed macs on the way back. yea mcspicy after a gym session. typical
sat - went to Marky's new house at tanjong pagar for housewarming. super fun, especially the skybridge. the view was damn awesome/magnificent. plus u can see the singtel building, which is beside 313, as well as suntec city from the skybridge. ownage la...his house is only 20-25 mins walk away from orchard road
den went back home and got something tt ive been waiting for for a long time: enlistment date!!! 19th april at cmpb. at least i don need to bring all those stuff like detergent and padlock. also no need to worry about catching the ferry to tekong. if you're wondering why, go see my facebook profile
den stayed up till 3.30am to watch Man Utd thrash bolton 4-0! take tt you pipsqueaks!!!
also wondering whether i shld watch Real Madrid vs atletico madrid at 3am later...
also thx to Sihui, Mel and Julia! good to know that there are wonderful people in this screwed up world

fun week
mon (15 mar) - went towning with Leen. yea went to 313, but they didnch have Paramore tee =/ so went over to kino at taka (yea took the train from somerset to orchard. one stop -.- plus earlier we took from dhoby ghaut to somerset cos it was raining. another one stop =.= there's $1.40+ gone). finally managed to nab the Man Utd 2010 annual as well as an interesting book about paradoxes. philosophy degree here i come
wed - gym at night with JN. yea overstretched myself as usual, which means tt my muscles ached until sat
thu - kapped with Leen. yea my maths is as pro as ever
sat - studied with Christella and Liyana at woodlands library. once again, my maths is as pro as ever. as for chem...er...
den went to courts at lot 1 to see the notebooks and netbooks. was wondering which one to get, but thanks to the recce-ing and yahoo answers, i think i'll go for notybook instead. yes, netbook looks more stylish and is easier to carry around due to its smaller size, but its only good for watching vids and surfing the net. my needs trump that: inclusive of watching vids and surfing net, i need lots of space for my microsoft office files, esp word and excel, i need itunes, and i need a cd/dvd player, which netbook doesnt have. plus its not as if notebooks are like the laptops of yesteryear: so big and obiang tt u wouldnt be caught dead with them. so most probably an acer notey, then
sun - went for 9am mass instead of 11am. still prefer the 11am choir, as always. then after tt: the big one!!! Man Utd vs loserpool!!! which Man Utd won 2-1!!! woooooooooooooots. take that you scouse bastards
and my Tyranitar owns
and i need a screen protector for my iTouch
and Amoric rocks

plus Generation V of Pokemon coming soon!!! cant wait for that either. i wonder how many generations there will have been when i finally leave this earth, cos im never going to stop loving Pocket Monsters

yea sunday was just as awesome as friday
had church in the morning. then nabbed lunch before chionging down to singapore indoor stadium for the paramore concert!!! yea reached at around 2+. the actual concert started at 8, but it was worth waiting those 6 hours
so yea. slacked around, ate, chatted etc. then finally at ard 7.15 we were allowed to enter the stadium. the opening act monochrome was so-so la. the first few songs still ok, but once it reached the 3rd song most ppl were like sian ald. i mean, we came here for a Paramore concert, not a monochrome concert dammit
so Paramore eventually came out at 8.45!!! yea super energetic, lots of pushing and shoving, as expected when you're in the standing area. but once again, totally worth it
yea also took the first 4 pics below. thanks to all the pushing and shoving, plus the fact tt the zoom function on my blackberry cam mysteriously decided not to function (perfect timing eh) those pics below were the best i could do. the last two pictures are courtesy of
http://blogs.todayonline.com/poparazzi/2010/03/08/paramore-in-concert-the-real-review
it may cost $111, but the ticket is priceless

before the concert

can barely make out Hayley in the middle...

slightly better shot of Hayley (as compared to above...)

yea. although the Paramore concert was relatively short (they performed from 8.45 to slightly before 10) it was still awesome, amazing, spectacular, wondrous...add in your own adjectives. that was the only downside, but Hayley's crowd skills were great. She knew how to get the audience going, when to continue singing and when to stop for a short chat with the fans. Supremely talented.
of course, there were other sore spots, such as plenty of idiots trying to elbow their way to the front, people pushing you from all sides and me trying not to eat other people's hair for dinner. i swear i smelled at least 10 different brands of shampoo. ah well. u have to take the good with the bad, eh?
so aft tt went to kallang leisure park to cool down, before getting a ride home from Xueyi's mother. thx auntie!!! yea den nabbed Maccy D's befroe heading home. if Paramore come to singapore again i'll definitely go...although maybe i'll get a sitting ticket this time round...
and away from Paramore: why cant NUS open its applications immediately after the bloody results?!?!?!?! i mean, ive ald applied with NTU (forget about SMU). so why the wait?!?!?!

awesome day
got back A level results today yea. my results were: ... ...
nah i'll build up to it. so like ive been doing for the past few weeks, i went to bed around 1.30am. and like ive been doing for the past few weeks, i only managed to sleep around 3. however, unlike the past few weeks where i usually wake up at noon, i woke up at 8.30 this morning to take a piss and couldnt get back to sleep. you should know why. if you don't, too bad. so slacked, watched tv, played Fifa09...anything to keep from thinking abt the "A"s
so left home at 2. met a bunch of s25 guys on the way, including Binny, Norris and JN. since we got to the hall at 2.20, we had to stand at the back -.- den after a bunch a the usual ceremonies and how to apply for university: results time!!! and my results were: ... ... nah if you want to know ask me on msn, facebook, email, sms etc
den after tt went to lt1 since those who got "A"s in at least 2 H2 subjects needed to. crapped ard with JT and Virgilio. and i have a question: how come they can show Jeremy's name on the bloody screen and not mine?!?! not that im bitter, you understand.
also congrats to all me mates who did great. and to those who didnt do too well, heads up. there are many more options and paths in life to choose from
of course, i need to mention two people: my parents. the two people who have never stopped believing in the person typing this post. theyve been through psle, O levels and now A levels. there's still plenty more stuff to come, like army and university graduation (hopefully). cheers to many more moments like these ahead
also, to me teachers and friends for tolerating my nonsense and being there (not all of them, obviously. nothing is perfect). but lets not be churlish
and of course, where would we be without God? i knew tt it was no use praying for good results; after all, if you dont study (not that i didnt study, mind you), u cant expect to just waltz into the examination hall and expect to get all "A"s. but i
was praying that the dudes who marked my scripts at cambridge would be lenient =p if tt was the case, rejoice!!! mucho thanks to God for helping me deal with all the stress and bullshit during those two years
PS i wore an adidas tee to school today to collect the results. given that adidas's slogan is
Impossible is Nothing, tt was rather appropriate
