has one year really gone by so fast? it seems like just ytd. just ytd that we were mugging together for O levels. that we stayed back until 9.30pm to do revision. those were undoubtedly the best times of my secondary school life

seems like aeons ago when i told u tt i liked u as more than a friend. remembering that practically every day we would sms each other to ask if the other was free to go online and chat. and chat we did. average of 6 hours daily? also going out together, be it to lot 1, jurong point or orchard road.

and yet...

and yet...

it also feels like it never happened. just some weird dream; it could very well have been some other person's life, something i never lived, or maybe some long-forgotten memory. but maybe that's just denial

of course we had our differences. which couple doesn't? but i always hoped we would rise above that. hell, even our history teacher encouraged us. and practically everyone in sec 4, plus every teacher we knew, knew about it. unfortunately, dreams and reality rarely tally

i had thought being single once more would be fun. no restriction, no need to answer to anyone...but now, chatting with you, i realise what i've been missing for a good 9 months. trying to paper over the cracks, trying to pretend the wound isn't there. now i see that while time has healed some of the hurt, there's still something missing. or maybe the wound hasn't healed; maybe i don't want it to heal.

whatever it is, i'm glad we can still be friends. can still chat merrily on msn. hope you enjoy yourself in MI

promos results! omg laaaa. i absolutely hate hate HATE my chem and econs results. for chem, i was expecting nth less than an A. and i missed out by 4 stinking marks! mainly cos of qns 3, 4 and section b 2nd qn...out of total 25 marks for those 3 qns, i gt 11 =xxx as for econs, me was aiming for C. and once again, i missed out by 4 marks! bloody essay

lit: gang gang pass. moderate frm S to D. a bit paiseh lehs

maths: A!!! woohoo. tot i screwed promo maths. end up exceeding expectations. nt bad

so hopefully can promote. if i DO somehow promote, these r my A level targets:

Maths A
Chem A
Lit B or C
Econs C

and if i dont, one of 3 options:

1) retain and take MCE combo with H1 physics
2) go NP business studies
3) appeal for CJC eng elective course. which i dont think will ever happen.

A Midwinter Day's Nightmare

fri night rocked. why? cos i spended like 3-4 hrs playing Fifa09. rocks man. Fifa06 can go fly kite. anyway its nt compatible with vista. so yea

ytd rocked even more. met Puiyi at jurong east den proceeded to jrl. after tt the one who has stopped calling me skinny (for the time being) showded up. did chem, maths n physics. sidenote: when uve been learning A level curriculum for almost 10 months, O level curriculum seems so...erm...well...um...ahh...

den aft tt lunched at food court before mrt-ing home. napped before mrt-ing to bukit batok csc for pluggy bbq. only 9 ppl went man...the food they bought could have feeded like 20-25 ppl? seriously. and Mr Ching rocks my socks man. too bad didnt get to play pool or bowling

den 188ed home to watch Man Utd thrash WBA (wussy bastardly assholes) 4-0. yeps

today: sleepy...at night gonna do i&r and binomial. which reminds me: i don have to worry about maths and chem promos ald. all tts left is econs...

wed: sudoku competition! paired up with Huifang, and we totally screwed the preliminary round =x have to practice more sudoku. den me and Daren pei-ed Cliffy and Peisi for their pw. eventful...

thu: boring as usual

today: maths rocked, pe didnt, mainly cos i didnt get to play football, and lit was ok. den nabbed Fifa09. also gonna chiong Heroes season 2 in time for season 3 on star world in 6 nov. wootsssss

also winned $10 from playing blackjack! i rock man. e other time i played bj i was banker, and won $20+

first: Happy Birthday to my mother! she is one of only 2 ppl (the other obviously being my father) to have tolerated all my crap for 17++ years. yep.

hmm. thu: nth much. fri: the farewell assembly rocked, esp e dance. not even duffy's whiny voice could ruin the moves. den wented for op workshop, which would have been funner if not for the screwed up sound system

ytd: went to bugis and more with Joanna and Daren. walked walked walked, den me and Daren wanted to go national library, but it was closeded. so went around e architectural exhibition outside

ooo im so evil

lets see...lit teacher didnch come today, so slacked at cafe. then GP was boring (as usual) before econs lecture. somehow i managed not to fall asleep. seriously, some ppl's voices are just not suited for holding other ppls' attention. was kinda pissed at the end. i didnch feel tt we shld be helping ponners. but watever. film appreciation was a million billion trillion quadrillion quintillion sextillion septillion etc times more interesting. ooo im so evil

den, like for the past few days: PW!!! woohoo. yay. anyway, managed to trim down word count frm 3298 to 2997. i rock man. plus got ze medal for inter house football. er yea watever. id rather play for a team in which i can enjoy myself and not win anything than play for a winning but fcuked up team. ok not all players were titfaces. maybe one or two. ooo im so evil

feel like applying for H3 chem and maths, but i think i have a snowball's chance in hell for the former. organic synthesis or linear algebra? that is the question. if i do somehow tio the H3 modules, im going to nab Hwa Chong and Raffles pe shirts, to add to my CJC and SAJC heehee. ooo im so evil

fun fun day

went to sch as usual. er, yea. me, Cliffy, Peisi and Jielun were slacking around. plus i also suddenly feel like taking h3 chem. and Mr Hou told me i'd gotten 100 marks for my chem promo. rock on

aft tt went home to chg before bussing down to plaza sing with Joanna and Daren. munched at long john silver before window shopping. did a survey, where the events immediately prior were rather amusing. den met BX ard 4+ and tried to book chalet, but dunno who got ntuc membership. cam-whoring session aft tt before walking down to Heeren. in between we bought super big gulp and went crazy...

yes...we took those super big gulp pics in full view of anyone and everyone walking by. now i can never show my face in tt part of town again. can only hang around centrepoint and taka

HMV: rock on. so many indie bands to listen to, so little time. den went to Paragon before walking (again) to far east plaza. den didnt noe where to dinner, so trained home with Joanna and Daren (yes, those two again). crapped for a bit at causeway point before heading home

and if ever a reminder was needed as to how small dear old Singapore is, its this: i saw Cameron Yaw at Plaza Sing, Wee Hao at hmv, my parents outside paragon and Zahid and Fadyl at woodlands mrt. yups

and now im absolutely pooped

old macdonald went to town

lets see. ytd: hari raya. on tue night i slept at 1am+. den woke up at 2.45am to watch Man Utd thrash aalborg 3-0 until 4.45. den snoozed all e way until 2pm. woke up, and chionged Diamond literally the whole day. discounting lunch and dinner time, i think i played for like 8 hours? yea

today: interhouse games. yea managed to win the football tournament with owens. although in hindsight, i think i would've been better off playing for darwin. bloody hell dilly dally...the freaking final against byron ended at 6.20 -_-

tmr: career seminar yeas. good thing all members of the ASC r in business. it'll make those hours until 12.30 that much more enjoyable. hopefully.

sat: premier league! uhhuh

now: damn tired. maybe i'll just stone until 11+
