part 1 of 2
ah. the Cambodia trip totally rocked. although it was probably a bit too short =( i would have loved to be playing with the kids for another week. day-by-day account coming up...pics on facebook, cos im lazy to upload here
Day 1: tue - met at changi airport at 2. den flew off, landed in Cambodia at 5.50 local time (Cambodia is one hour behind Singapore). aft tt bussed to the hotel, dinnered, debrief and slacked in the hotel room. yea had fun surfing thru the 77 channels yay (most of them repeated)
Day 2: wed - went to the orphanage for the first day there. the kids there quite fun to play with. played games and sang till lunchtime, which was the same as the previous night's dinner. grk. den helped out in the demolishing of the kitchen. yea good training for army eh? carrying all those baskets of debris out. and the sand is irritating. left at abt 5+ local time before heading to a restaurant nearby the hotel for dinner. delicious much. den headed back to hotel to watch naruto!
Day 3: thu - second day at the orphanage. thankfully, no kitchen work this time. yea had fun reading the adventures of the bookworm gang lol. also slacked around with the kids. aft tt went for dinner, before heading to a supermarket for shopping! stocked up on chips and drinks to snack on in the hotel. wunnerful. den watched naruto again back at the hotel =p
so tts the first three days in a nutshell. of cos, its all a summarised version. no way those three paragraphs above can cover every single thing tt happened. but tts for the 33 (37 plus teachers) of us to enjoy, cherish and look back on fondly

sumptious week
mon - lit paper 5! once again, the actual exams are slightly more manageable than any of the revisions (coughcoughprelimscoughcough). hopefully the unseen can pull everything up
tue - chem paper 2! okok la. didnt manage to finish qn 2. wat rubbish was tt about carbon's oxidation number and the different alcohols? blah
followed by lit paper 1! hopefully can get at least a C for lit...and now i can bid goodbye to all my texts heh
wed - nth. so i slacked the whole day. yes. the WHOLE day. life is more than just sitting down with all your notes trying to cram 2 years' worth of studying into 2 hours. i have better things to do
thu - chinese b listening compre! think i crapped it =x but ah well. tts chinese out of my life forever!!! woots. unless i somehow end up in china because of studies or work...
fri - econs! thank goodness for prelims. cos inflation came out again. aft tt went to play footy with the s25 guys plus Fab and GN before heading to lot 2 to nab dinner
sat - went studying with Leen at kap! or rather, i was down there enjoying aircon while she was doing chem =p. den aft tt dinnered at sunshine place with meepok and oyster. DEE-licious. den chionged home to watch loserpool draw man shitty, arsenal lose to moonderland, and Man Utd whack never-ton! cheers
sun - feeling super sleepy, tired and lazy right now
yea also heading off to Cambodia on tues! will be back next sun, and just in time for El Clasico, where Real Madrid will thrash bra-celona!
and the author of this blog is truly astounded at how fast time flies. seems like just yesterday i was wondering whether i would be able to gel with 08S07. suddenly we're just 25+ hours away from the end of A levels. 2009 has been a very interesting year. but i'll leave that for a probable post on 31 Dec 2009 ;)
also muchos gracias to the few people who have stood by me, tolerated all my nonsense and still be there to provide that invaluable listening ear or shoulder to lean on. friends like these are one (or maybe four to five) on a million, and im glad that you have been put into my life

nice week
mon - i think i mugged with Ying at lot 1 library. oh yes i did. although i spent most of the time reading magazines like pc world, 8 days and time magazine =)
tue - maths paper 1! thx a lot, question 4. 8 marks gone. and the second part of qn 9. another 7 marks gone. but the paper wasnt too bad overall
wed - gp! there goes my A, eh. anyway a B wouldnt be too bad. and poverty is such a boring topic
thu - chem paper 3! for once the structure question was super easy. although no time to finish the last question =x have to chiong papers 1 and 2 now
fri - maths paper 2! piece of cake. you call this A levels? also studied with Farhanah in sch till about 6. yea ^^
sat - finally! managed to get BlackBerry Curve 8520!!! now i only need my Nokia 1661 for army, my Nokia 6120 classic for sudoku (although the BB Curve could replace tt soon) and the LG Arena for radio. woohoo take tt lg. sucky phone, sucky software, stupid response time. which is a no-no in today's technologically-driven, fast-paced and materialistic world
also just watched New Zealand qualify for the World Cup! woots. now i dont have to see those asian noobs at south africa next year
and also prob going to watch singapore vs thailand ltr. on tv, of course. im nt wasting my time going to the national stadium -

and 10 days from now me will be heading off to Cambodia! i just wish they didnt have tt political shit with thailand though

mon - nuthin
tue - had gp thingy for about 3 hours. yea my aq was totally out of point, so appropriately i gt 3 marks ^^ den after tt had cambodia meeting. also hope u like the poem =DDD
wed - immunisation for the cambodia trip at ttsh! lol crapped with Weicheng on e way there. and respect, G. respect.
thu - er, wad happened? forgot
fri - last tuition session! thx to Mr Lim for everything. and i think my stomach is finally getting the hang of mcspicy
sat - boring day. finally gt me hair cut though. now don have to worry abt being thrown out during the exams. and of course, football ltr
sun - Man Utd will thrash chelsea tmr!!!
also embarking on weekend mugging sessions with Ying. all the way, man

cool week
tue - ecg at alexandra hospital! and guess wat? theres absolutely nothing wrong with my cardiac sysytem -___________- thx a lot, cmpb. make me wait for 4 months for nothing. after tt brunched at the coffee connosseuir at anchorpoint. the lasagna there nt bad...a million times better than pastamania, although i still prefer pizza hut. the oreo frappe also rocked yay
wed - maths mock paper 2! i finally got A (73 marks) for paper 2!!! woohoo i love statistics again
thu - wad happened? forgot
fri - lit thingy. hmm i always seem to do better for unseens. and i got into ze Cambodia trip!!! yippee. plus Grace and Weicheng also going as well ^^ the only "bad" thing is tt it starts on 24th, and my last A level paper is on 23rd. nice. although i dont see any reason to complain. also thx to Christella for the hairclips haha. esp the winnie the pooh one
sat - studied econs and lit, before watching the simpsons halloween marathon (a few episodes, not all) and staying up until 3.30am (roughly 11 hours ago) to watch Man Utd win 2-0. and now i need a kip to catch up on my beauty sleep. bye.
