ah. the Cambodia trip totally rocked. although it was probably a bit too short =( i would have loved to be playing with the kids for another week. day-by-day account coming up...pics on facebook, cos im lazy to upload here
Day 1: tue - met at changi airport at 2. den flew off, landed in Cambodia at 5.50 local time (Cambodia is one hour behind Singapore). aft tt bussed to the hotel, dinnered, debrief and slacked in the hotel room. yea had fun surfing thru the 77 channels yay (most of them repeated)
Day 2: wed - went to the orphanage for the first day there. the kids there quite fun to play with. played games and sang till lunchtime, which was the same as the previous night's dinner. grk. den helped out in the demolishing of the kitchen. yea good training for army eh? carrying all those baskets of debris out. and the sand is irritating. left at abt 5+ local time before heading to a restaurant nearby the hotel for dinner. delicious much. den headed back to hotel to watch naruto!
Day 3: thu - second day at the orphanage. thankfully, no kitchen work this time. yea had fun reading the adventures of the bookworm gang lol. also slacked around with the kids. aft tt went for dinner, before heading to a supermarket for shopping! stocked up on chips and drinks to snack on in the hotel. wunnerful. den watched naruto again back at the hotel =p
so tts the first three days in a nutshell. of cos, its all a summarised version. no way those three paragraphs above can cover every single thing tt happened. but tts for the 33 (37 plus teachers) of us to enjoy, cherish and look back on fondly
